SIDI CARBON LITE SOLE

Introduced for the first time in a cycling shoe, a material developed for the aerospace and aviation fields. This “structural expanse core” material, being wear resistant, guarantees a longer life to the sole, keeping its initial mechanical features. Different kinds of materials are formed in layers to make a unique handmade sole. Carbon Lite Sole is constructed to provide a slight amount of flex in the toe while retaining excellent stiffness throughout the body of the shoe. The sole is engineered for the high-performance, high-mileage cyclist who requires a sole that is rigid but does not compromise the foot’s blood circulation, guaranteeing comfort, foot health and great power transfer. For walkability, the sole includes an anti-slip insert at the toe and a replaceable polyurethane heel pad.

SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM

The wide, anatomical and padded strap has been reduced and coupled to soft, thermo-formed material increasing comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the arch area, adjustable from both sides for perfect centering. Used with Caliper Buckle straps, it is serviceable and replaceable.

CALIPER BUCKLE

The micrometric closure called “Caliper Buckle” is adjustable by lifting the central buckle. In order to completely open, lift together both side buckles, or push the center button to slightly loosen one tooth at the time. The system is also adjustable during a race.

TECNO II SYSTEM

Tecno II buckle uses monofilament line and a fine-tooth ratchet for smooth adjustment and even pressure distribution. Allows frontal micro-metric closure and adapts the upper of the shoe to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. The Tecno II system is serviceable and replaceable.

HIGH SECURITY VELCRO

High Security Velcro straps with integrated locking polymer teeth, that engage onto each other when the strap is closed. This feature makes the closure more secure and the strap becomes unmovable.

ADJUSTABLE HEEL RETENTION DEVICE

New technology for the heel cup system; The adjustable heel retention device reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves fit by closing the back of the shoe more securely around the rider’s ankle. It tightens the top of the heel cup so that it doesn’t slip during steep climbs or sprints. For adjustment, turn the screw towards the + sign to tighten and towards the – sign to loosen.

REPLACEABLE HEEL PAD

For walkability, Sidi cycling shoes include a replaceable polyurethane heel pad.
