Normal Service
- Verify the alignment of wheels and inspect hubs, spokes, rims, and tires for any signs of damage.
- Ensure proper alignment of brakes and assess their functionality and efficiency.
- Apply lubrication to the chain and examine it for signs of wear.
- Examine brake pads for both wear and damage.
- Adjust gear stops and fine-tune indexing.
- Inspect the front chain-wheel and rear sprockets/cassette for indications of wear.
Full Service
- Brake and shifting adjustments

- Minor wheel truing
- Service any loose bearings, including:
a. Removal, degreasing, and inspection of both axles and bearings
b. Removal of cassette and inspection of free hub for signs of wear
c. Removal, cleaning, re-greasing (if applicable), and refitting of the headset, checked for movement
